Call us on 01534 870053 to book an appointment to have your piano(s) tuned by our professional. A piano tuning is £77.25 (inc. GST). However, if your piano is deemed un-tunable for some reason (too old, strings to fragile, too out of tune etc) there is still a £42 call out fee. Our piano tuner will also look through all the vital parts of your piano and see if any repairs are needed. We also offer our tuning and piano repair services to the other Channel Islands.
In store, we offer a guitar restring and clean up service, where we use the best quality cleaning and polishing products to give your guitar back its original glory. Not only restringing your guitar with the strings of your choice, we also feed the wood of the body and neck or you guitar, polish and spruce up the finish as well as lubricate the fret board for easier playing. All this at only a small charge.
Here at Island Music we offer a range of instrumental repairs, employing top professionals to service or repair your instruments. From classical instrument repairs to electric guitar and keyboard repair, to music technology repairs, servicing mixing desks and other studio equipment. All repairs are carried out efficiently and as quickly as possible, so you can be playing your instrument again in no time.
We also offer a valuation service for instruments you’re looking to sell or just find out its worth. Depending on the condition of your instrument, we may be willing to offer a trade-in service, where we will take the value of your instrument off the price of a brand new instrument from Island Music. A small commission price will be taken into account when offering trade-ins.
If you are not from Jersey but are interested in purchasing an instrument from us, we offer a shipping service, where we will charge extra for the price of shipping and delivery. It is well worth looking into as the taxes in Jersey work out cheaper to the taxes in Britain and Europe.
